Now in Paro—colorful, peaceful, and welcoming—we’re preparing to visit fortresses and hike Tiger’s Nest. Bhutan balances ancient tradition with a sustainable, modern future.

Greetings from the Himalayas! We’ll soon begin our journey to Buddha’s birthplace, Lumbini and continue across rough road into Chitwan National Park in search of elephants, rhinos and crocodiles. Then, finally, onto the storied city of Kathmandu, gateway to the high Himalayas and Mt Everest.

We’ve been traveling through India—from the swirling colors and spices of Delhi’s Chandni Chowk to the reverent calm of Amritsar’s Golden Temple and the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal—each stop a vivid blend of chaos, devotion, and wonder.

Dubai: Stayed near Al Souk Al Kabir on the water, the ancestral Al Maktoum Residence and the vibrant Grand Bazaar were explored, all situated by the historic and now booming Dubai Creek, which was transformed into a large harbor and free port.
