Chip’s Notes

We had the pleasure of staying at Mediodia on two different legs of the Adventure, first on Day 234 in June of 2022 on our way to Morocco, then on our second pass through Spain on our way north to the Arctic, Day 568. It is not a beautiful accomodation, but servicable and very convenient to the Atocha train station.

The streets along the Mediodia feel more like the United States than the heart of Spain. Along the sidewalks were a Taco Bell, a Dunkin’ Donuts, a KFC, but luckily we were able to find a great little taverna nearby called Berenjena. Look for more information on Berenjena, a place we heartily recommend - coming soon.
