“Kau Patagonía is located in Puerto Natales, a 5-minute walk from the main square and in front of the Costanera.

It has 9 rooms that include heating, rustic-style wooden walls and natural fabrics. We serve a delicious full buffet breakfast, the rooms have a private bathroom and beautiful views of the Señoret channel and the Última Esperanza fjord, we make excursions to Torres del Paine and the surrounding area, as well as excursions to Lake Gray on foot and by kayak.”

Chip’s Notes

The Kau Lodge is a charming little hotel right on the water in Puerto Natales, but easily within walking distance of the town and its main square. We recommend its spectacular view, the stars, and wonderful sunsets/rises. A cozy coffee-shop restaurant can keep you fueled with great breakfasts (part of your stay) and truly outstanding hot chocolate. The service is top notch, and all the people working at the lodge complete sweethearts. It’s mid range, highly recommended. Read about our time in Puerto Natales starting from Day 497. Start here.
