Description

“Since 1945. Located in the mythical and traditional corner of the Lavalle and Esmeralda pedestrian streets, a few meters from Florida Street and Corrientes Avenue, where you can enjoy cinemas, restaurants, shoppings and where the city’s financial and banking activity lives.

The Regis Hotel offers a harmonious combination of attention, comfort and service. With its Spanish colonial style and red brick imprint, it is a minute walk from Lavalle metro station, a 7 minute walk from Colon Theater and 10 minutes walk from the historic Café Tortoni .”

Chip’s Notes

We liked this hotel. The location placed in the heart of the city’s interesting Recoleto district, the room was large, clean and the service was good. It’s not a five star hotel, but served our purposes with solid internet and a comfortable environment. If you want to explore the real Buenos Aires, this is the place we’d recommend. You can read about our time in Buenos Aires in the Vagabond Journal starting at Day 536.
